Tender description
DFID Market Engagement for: 1) A consortium of organisations to establish and lead a portfolio of scale-up and innovation learning partnerships to prevent violence against women and girls (VAWG) (the ‘scale and innovation consortium’). The consortium will: (i) systematically design, implement and refine a range of approaches to scaling up VAWG prevention; (ii) design, pilot and refine new theory-driven approaches to VAWG prevention; (iii) strengthen long-term capability and capacity on VAWG prevention and use evidence to influence a more effective global response to end violence (ISD managed). 2) A consortium of organisations to establish and lead a programme of world-class research (the ‘research programme consortium’ (RPC)) on the prevalence, nature and drivers of VAWG; and rigorous operational, impact and cost-effectiveness evaluations of the innovation and scale-up interventions implemented under the scale and innovation consortium (RED managed).
