Cork Mid-West Bundle - Wastewater Treatment Plants DBO Contract

The Contract consists of the detailed design, construction and testing of new treatment facilities and upgrades to the collection networks in 4 separate agglomerations. These requirements will include: Ballyvourney/Ballymakeera Sewerage Scheme • New 2,600 PE WwTP • New rising main • Upgrade of existing pump station Dripsey Sewerage Scheme • New 700 PE WwTP • Upgrade existing sewer pipelines • Rehabilitation of existing network Innishannon Sewerage Scheme • New 2,000 PE WwTP including inlet pump station • Upgrades to an existing pumping station and design and construction of a new rising main with river crossing • New sewer networks • No-dig crossing under the Bandon River • Rehabilitation of existing network Coachford Sewerage Scheme • New 1,600 PE WwTP • Upsize existing sewer pipelines • Upsize existing outfall pipelines • Rehabilitation of existing network Also included: • Decommissioning and demolition of existing wastewater infrastructure not incorporated into the Works along with disposal of all associated redundant equipment and materials and site reinstatement Commissioning and testing of all works. The Operation Service requirements will include operation and maintenance of the WWTP and collections network (including pumping stations) up to a period of 7-years, with the option to extend by 3 years, following completion of the Design Build Period.
