Tender description

The Cardiff and Vale University Health Board (C&V UHB) are looking to implement a framework arrangement with building service contractors. Typical works to be carried out will be: — excavation works, — corridor decorations, — upgrade of positive pressure rooms at UHW, — upgrade of communal area including seating, — refurbishment of bathrooms on T5 at UHW, — ward refurbishment at UHW including upgrading of bathrooms and heating, replacement flooring, ceilings, light fittings, sanitary ware, redecoration. Demolition of some walls and partitions, — upgrade of 2 theatres into 1 HTM compliant theatre at UHL including Demolition of walls and partitions, replacement flooring, ceilings, light fittings, sanitary ware, redecoration. Re-wiring of electrics, replacement of air handling unit, upgrading of medical gas. Any medium works/schemes 125 000 GBP — 500 000 GBP will be covered under this lot. Any small works/schemes 0 GBP — 5 000 GBP and 5 000 GBP — 125 000 GBP will be covered under this lot. Any major works/schemes 500 000 GBP — 2 000 000 GBP will be covered under this lot.
