Tender description

Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Authority (the Authority) seeks to appoint a single supplier to provide all-terrain vehicles complete with trailer, road trailer and with the option for a water misting system (‘All-terrain vehicle ensemble’). The successful contractor must have the legal and financial capacity, previous experience and technical and professional ability to perform the contract. The Authority proposes to enter into a contract for 3 years, extendable by 12 months. The contract is anticipated to commence in September 2019. The contract will only be open for use by Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service. The Authority requires the provision of all-terrain vehicle ensemble to meet stated requirements, with an initial delivery of up to five (5) all-terrain vehicle ensembles in 2019/2020. The Authority may, subject to further review and availability of funding, purchase additional all-terrain vehicle ensembles during the period of the contract. The estimated value shown in this Section II provides an estimate of the total potential value of the contract. The value of the contract will be in the range of 40 000 GBP to 400 000 GBP depending on quantities procured. The Authority does not guarantee quantities and range information provided in this Notice is only intended as a guide to bidders. Evaluation will be in accordance with the selection and award criteria to determine the most economically advantageous tender.
