Structural Works for the Regent Centre in Christchurch

Tender description

The proposed works can be summarised as follows: • Replacement and repairs to the existing Auditorium structural steel frame; • Masonry works required to accommodate the above; • Steelwork and associated masonry repairs to the North Elevation; • Making good existing construction disturbed; • Installation of new cladding system to the Auditorium South Elevation; • Repair and re-fixing of existing gutters to the Auditorium (North & South sides) • External decorations to Auditorium North and South Elevations; • Removal of existing load-bearing scaffolding (specialist contractor); • Removal of temporary prop installation to Auditorium Circle; • Internal decorations to North and South external walls and underside of Circle; • Removal of existing site hoarding and making good hard-surfaced areas disturbed. The tendered works will require the temporary adjustment of scaffolding to facilitate the proposed works.
