Tender description

EP Killroot Ltd and EP Ballylumford Ltd are inviting tenders for the provision of security guarding services at their Kilroot and Ballylumford power stations. The successful economic operator will be responsible for implementing the EP Kilroot/EP Ballylumford policy on security at the relevant site, including all standing orders and instructions issued. EP Ballylumford Ltd and EP Kilroot Ltd are inviting tenders from qualified economic operators for the provision of security guarding services at their Kilroot and Ballylumford power stations. The successful economic operator will be responsible for implementing the EP Kilroot/EP Ballylumford policy on security at the relevant site, including all standing orders and instructions issued. Economic operators must be able to provide all categories of the services listed in the procurement documents. If an economic operator cannot provide any of the services listed, the economic operator will be excluded from consideration for the award of the contract. It is anticipated that the contract awarded will commence on 1.9.2019. The contract will be a tri-partite agreement between EP Ballylumford Ltd, EP Kilroot Ltd and the successful economic operator. The contract will be awarded for a minimum initial period of three (3) years, with the potential option for EP Ballylumford Ltd and EP Kilroot Ltd to extend, on an annual basis, up to a maximum of seven (7) years (i.e. up to four (4) additional extensions of 1 year each). The estimated annual value of the contract is 500 000 GBP. Following the evaluation of tender responses in accordance with the process outlined in the ITT, EP Ballylumford Ltd and EP Kilroot Ltd reserve the right to request Best and Final Offers (BAFO) from one, some or all remaining eligible economic operators as they determine appropriate at their discretion.
