Tender description
The participating authorities has circa 190 TSCD devices which perform sterile welds between plastic PVC tubing for the processing of blood components. NHSBT has issued this VEAT to outline its intentions to enter into a negotiated procedure with Terumo BCT to obtain maintenance cover for the TSCDII devices. For a period of 4 years with the option to extend for a further 4 years under a Contract. Note: this will be run as a collaborative exercise with other blood services who will be added as beneficiaries: Welsh Blood Service, Northern Irish Blood Service, Irish Blood Service and Scottish National Blood Transfusion Service. The Authorities have Terumo Sterile Connections Devices (TSCDII) which require maintenance.
