Provision of information, advice and guidance services. OJEU contract reference number 2018/S 240-548331: notice that procurement has been abandoned. The delivery of a homelessness prevention hub which would work with council services to prevent homelessness. The hub was to support clients to tackle a broad range of financial issues through the provision of information, advice and guidance services. The core aims of the hub were to support clients to: — prevent homelessness, — secure and sustain accommodation when homeless, — understand their rights if they are homeless or threatened with homelessness, — access additional or specialist support from a range of local providers, — prevent crisis situations from developing or escalating through increased financial capability. The aim of this procurement was to deliver specialist information, advice and guidance (SIAG) services around welfare benefits, debt advice, money management skills and support to tackle any other issues which could lead to a crisis situation. This to include prevention advice services which will lead to greater individual income, help clients to maintain their resilience and (where appropriate) ensure that people can stay in their home for longer. The SIAG would support clients who are or have a higher risk of vulnerability and display one or more of the protected characteristics from the Equality Act 2010 (as defined by the Equality and Human Rights Commission).
