HPLC Consumables

Tender description

The Agency requires the purchase of various HPLC consumables. These consumables can be categorised into two categories: 1. HPLC Columns & Miscellaneous items - Fixed items 2. Other HPLC consumables - changeable items HPLC Columns & Miscellaneous items - There is a requirement to purchase the HPLC columns listed (see attached list for details). The requirement is for the exact items to be supplied, and not alternative equivalents. The columns are regarded as critical items and are currently used in various validated test methods, and therefore are not changeable. We are looking to secure a supplier(s) who can offer these products at the best value. In addition to the columns, there is also a requirement for products: Bondelut C18 50mg (1ml) and Vial 1ml V-vial next gen clear 13-425 cap with Teflon liner. These two items are also regarded as critical and not changeable. Other HPLC consumables - The other consumables listed are used in HPLC testing activities but are regarded as not critical. These products can be replaced with an equivalent provided the specification requirements are the same. We are looking to secure a supplier(s) who can offer the exact, or an equivalent product, to the ones listed at the best value. If an equivalent product is offered we would expect the supplier to offer samples initially without cost to enable us to trial within our various testing activities for assay suitability. If no submissions of potential interest are received by close of play 21 July 2019, it is then intended to perform a direct award without competition to those sole suppliers we believe can supply the required products.
