Tender description

This Framework Agreement will be for the supply of chilled, frozen, and ambient food products nationally on behalf of the NHS. The products will be delivered into, stored and then distributed by NHS Supply Chain Food's nominated distribution partner.The contract length will be for an initial 12 months with the option to extend incrementally for up to a total of 4 years. Precise sales quantities are unknown. It is anticipated that initial expenditure will be in the region of 26 000 000 GBP in the first year of this Framework Agreement, however this is approximate only and the values may vary depending on the requirements of those bodies purchasing under the Framework Agreement We anticipate to have 43 lots for this strategy, listed below, please note this is subject to change. Approximately 2 core range products — examples include but not limited to apple and orange juice cuplets. All to be chilled. Approximately 12 core range products — examples include but not limited to fruit juices. All to be chilled. Approximately 10 core range products — examples include but not limited to fruit and vegetable juices. All to be chilled. Approximately 3 core range products — examples include but not limited to butter blocks (salted and unsalted), and butter portions. All to be chilled. Approximately 3 core range products — examples include but not limited to bulk spread, spread portions, cooking and baking spread. All to be chilled.
