Tender description

Specialist 4x4 rescue vehicle required for Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service. The Council is looking to tender for the provision of one, 16 500 kg/GLM fire appliance/specialist rescue vehicle based on 4x4 chassis cab unit. The appliance is to be equipped with a centrally mounted rescue/recovery crane, rescue winch and a flexible use stowage area. The appliance must have an excellent off road capability, good manoeuvrability and a minimum fording capability of 600 mm.
