Tender description

NHS Supply Chain seeks to establish a non-exclusive Framework Agreement for supply to NHS Supply Chain depots via the Stock/Blue Diamond routes and to the NHS Supply Chain customer base via the e-direct route. Details of the NHS Supply Chain routes to market can be found in Appendix 4b Operational Suppliers Requirements. The Framework Agreement is for the supply of needle free connectors and connection systems/access devices intended to provide direct infusion of fluids or administration of medication to a patient. It is anticipated that in the first 24 months of the Framework Agreement the value of purchases will be circa 61 500 000 GBP however this is approximate only. The figures for the total estimated value are based on that initial expenditure and include a forecast for growth. Appointment to the Framework Agreement will be made on a line by line basis. NHS Supply Chain anticipates appointing all applicants who meet the minimum requirements which are set out in these tender documents and whose total score meets or exceeds a hurdle of 50 % at tender evaluation stage to the relevant Line of the Framework Agreement.
