1-893 Central Operations Support RIS2

Tender description

The objectives of this work will be to: - Support Operations through the ORR (and DfT) RIS2 draft SBP review process, - Support the development of RIS2 regional allocations (braking the renewals case into regional budget allocations for RIS2), SPATS Framework Work Package Scope 2 - Complete the delivery of the Operations elements of the RIS2 Strategic Business Case (SBP), - Support the writing of the Operations RIS2 delivery plan, and - Transfer the capabilities developed for the RIS2 draft case, and supporting work, into Operations As outputs this work will therefore support Operations in delivering: - An updated, and final, version the Operations OMR case, supporting documents and any evidence (Note: the Highways England SPB will be delivered by Strategy and Planning, Operations are required to provide the supporting documentation for this case), - The supporting Operations documentation needed for the writing of the RIS2 Deliver Plan (Note: Strategy and Planning have responsibility for the final Highways England Delivery Plan, Operations are required to provide the supporting documentation and evidence for the plan), - Finalised regional allocations and supporting financial and output data, - Ensure that the understanding and expertise developed to create the OMR investment case is transferred into the new Operations RIS team.
