Tender description

The scope of this opportunity is to provide the current sludge application management system. The service provider shall ensure the SAM solution enables Southern Water to easily and promptly compile all necessary reports which Southern Water is required to produce pursuant to applicable laws and regulations, with respect to: — Defra, — Ofwat, — Environment Agency, — Farmers Notices. The contract term for the sludge application management solution will run for an initial term of 5 years, with the option to extend for a period, or periods of up to a further 3 years (8 years total). The procurement of the sludge application management solution includes the provision of software and support of a new solution, where the successful service provider will be responsible for any minor configuration to their solution in order to meet the functional requirements outlined within the tender documents. The service provider will be required to work with a Southern Water System Integrator, to implement the sludge application management solution into the Southern Water environment. the service provider will offer the system Integrator expertise on their proposed solution and ensure that any associated end-to-end testing is completed in a timely manner.
