Tender description

Public Health England (PHE) is intending to award a contract for the provision of replacement OEM isolator canopies to PFI Systems Ltd. Following extensive research, PHE believes the canopies of the flexible film isolator have a limited life span (approx 10 years) and require replacement on an ongoing basis. The isolators are regularly serviced and maintained and we have been advised by our service engineer that continued repair of the canopies, to maintain a safe working environment is now no longer feasible. These particular replacement canopies can only be purchased from PFI Systems Ltd. PHE believes that they are the sole supplier/manufacturer of the canopies as they are bespoke to the isolators and are the OEM manufacturer. This is a 2-year contract with 2 possible extensions of 12 months each.
