Tender description
** Replaces ITT_5901 due to introducing new lots to split East/West locations ** The Authority (Environment Agency - EA) is looking for supplier(s) to cover a programme of refurbishment works (external redecoration, installation of replacement doors and windows) at EA’s Lock Houses. EA have legal obligations as the landlord to maintain the properties in a good repair. No external redecoration work has taken place for over 10 years and in order to maintain the fabric and structure we need to complete works to a proportion of the houses. Only one property, Penton Hook is Grade 2 listed. Therefore the allocated Lots, which you are able to bid for are as follows:- Lot1 Full Programme of Refurbishment Works at Lock Houses (Lots 2-5) Lot2 Discreet Work Package for Replacement Windows and Doors – x6 properties Lot3 Discreet Work Package for Replacement Windows and Doors – x5 properties Lot4 Discreet Work Package for External Decoration – x6 properties Lot5 Discreet Work Package for External Decoration – x7 properties You may bid for as many lots as you wish. The Authority will award the works to supplier(s) providing the most economically advantageous tender based on the bid responses. The Authority reserve the right to award single or multiple lots to individual suppliers based on MEAT. If you require additional guidance on how to submit a proposal using this lot structure, please place a request via the BRAVO portal. EA will allow works to start at the beginning of September 2019 and would need to be finished by 31st October 2019. EA understand that there will be a lead in time for ordering windows so will be flexible. All measurements for tender submission will take place externally unless EA state otherwise.
