NIE Networks operate a centralised ‘Plant Workshop (PWS). PWS manage repairs and calibration of all test equipment as per ISO/IEC 17025:2017, and the purchasing of same 1 Framework Agreement will be awarded per lot, estimated value range (excluding VAT) and duration of the tender is: Lot 1: Calibration of Test Equipment: — 1 year value range: 75 000 GBP-100 000 GBP, — 4 years value range: 300 000 GBP-400 000 GBP, — 8 years value range: 600 000 GBP-800 000 GBP. his Framework Agreement is 4 years with an option (at NIE Networks sole discretion), to extend for up to 4 years (8 years in total). Lot 2: Repairs of Test Equipment: — 1 year value range: 50 000 GBP-75 000 GBP, — 4 year value range: 200 000 GBP-300 000 GBP, — 8 year value range: 400 000 GBP-600 000 GBP. This Framework Agreement is 4 years with an option (at NIE Networks sole discretion), to extend for up to 4 years (8 years in total). Lot 3: Supply of Test Equipment: — 1 year value range: 15 000 GBP-25 000 GBP, — 4 years value range: 60 000 GBP-100 000 GBP, — 8 years value range: 120 000 GBP-200 000 GBP. This Framework Agreement is 4 years with option(at NIE Networks sole discretion), to extend for up to 4 years (8 years in total). Northern Ireland Electricity Networks Ltd (NIE Networks) operate a centralised ‘Plant Workshop’ (PWS). The Plant Workshop (PWS) is responsible for management of all NIE Networks calibrated equipment to ensure that they are recalibrated within the specified timeframes as per ISO/IEC 17025:2017 and always have a valid test certificate. NIE Networks wishes to establish a Framework Agreement with one operator (following award of this tender competition) for the services of a suitably experienced contractor to provide this service. The Framework Agreement will be established for a period of 4 years with an option (exercisable entirely at NIE Networks discretion), to extend for up to a further 4-year period.
