Tender description

Leicester City Council (The Authority) invites tenders to establish a Framework Agreement for the provision of porphyry paving flags. The initial requirement which is the first call-off is for porphyry paving flags of purple mix to be laid at the clock tower East Gates, Leicester, LE1 3YA. The First call off will be awarded to the top scoring supplier. The proposed framework will be for 2 years with an option to extend for a period or periods totalling no more than a further 2 years. We anticipate awarding places on the Framework Agreement to the top 4 scoring suppliers. The first call-off will automatically be awarded to the top scoring supplier. This exercise will used to award the initial requirement to the most economically advantageous bidder. Any future provisions will be subject to a further competition. The proposed framework will be for 2 years with an option to extend for a period or periods totalling no more than a further 2 years.
