Tender description

UK BiC requires a team of mechanical installation engineers to oversee the arrival of all the facility equipment on site, at UK BiC, between November 2019 and July 2020. It may be that other items of equipment are delivered outside of this time window and if this is the case, the project envisages that this will be the same team who oversee installation. The contract is likely to include: unload equipment from supplier delivery vehicles, check and unpack the equipment within the facility and then place in situ as detailed by the project team in agreement with the equipment supplier. Furthermore, you will be expected to engage with the individual equipment suppliers (and the Cat B fit out team on site) to make the appropriate connections. We reserve the right to have an option for equipment storage within this agreement, if it becomes necessary. The Council expects that the procurement exercise that follows on for this contract will be conducted using the competitive with negotiation procedure to establish 1 mechanical installation engineering contract for the initial delivery and installation for the UK BiC facility. Any items of equipment delivered outside of the main timetable will also be installed by the supplier appointed within this agreement.
