Market Consultation - Stop Smoking Service

Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council is responsible for the commissioning of Stop Smoking Service. The Authority wishes to engage with the market to determine the feasibility, capability and capacity to procure a Specialist Stop Smoking Service. The Authority intends to do this via a short phase of market consultation allowing interested parties the opportunity to express views on the Authority’s aspirations and approach to a new service. In turn providing the Authority a chance to assess the response of the market to the overall aims and objectives. The information and insights from this market consultation stage may help shape the next steps and the nature of any future service model. The market consultation phase is not a call for tender but an opportunity for the market to be consulted with the process. Therefore, Stockton Borough Council would like to invite interested providers of Specialist Stop Smoking Service to attend a market consultation event on Tuesday 9th July 2019. At this event we aim to: ? Present the Stockton-on-Tees vision for Specialist Stop Smoking Service. ? Present the current and future challenges ? Present a high-level overview of future service function, model and cost envelope for new services from April 2020 ? Provide a forum for providers to network and create partnership links ? Establish market interest and opinion ? Provide Procurement Process and Hints and Tips for writing a bid When: 1.00pm on Tuesday 9th July 2019.
