One option, amongst others, to be considered is an request for quote process. Those showing interest in the contract at an acceptable rate may be invited to take part in this process. The Council has a number of care contracts in place across Bristol that end in 2021. At this time the intention is to re-commission all the ECH contracts to a new specification and with a new contract and this includes the contract that is the subject of this notice. The current specification, contract and TUPE information is attached in Procontract. It is the Council’s view that TUPE may apply with respect to the services currently provided. Any future procurement will advise that bidders should however seek their own professional advice in order to form their views on the question of TUPE and should specify the view that they have taken together with the reasons for that view in their submission. The current total volume of care hours currently provided by the contract holder at the scheme is approximately 270hrs per week for 27 service users.
