General Grounds Maintenance

Tender description

Banbury Town Council is seeking Expressions of Interest from contractors for its General Maintenance Contract due to start on the 1st April 2020. The closing date for these to be received by the Town Council is the 22nd July 2019. This is one of 2 grounds maintenance contracts that will be tendered in August 2019 through a Competitive Procedure with Negotiation. The evidence provided by prospective contractors through this Expressions of Interest Notice will be assessed, with a shortlist drawn up of potentially 3 - 5 contractors who will be invited to tender for the work. This general maintenance contract will include tasks such as the maintenance of grass areas, shrub beds, mixed borders, hedges, play areas, hard surfaces, seasonal bedding and some drainage features. Additional information: The Expressions of Interest must be sent back with any evidence or corroborating material to the address shown in the Questionnaire which is to Mark Recchia MA FICS FSLCC, Town Clerk, Banbury Town Council, Bridge Street, Banbury OX16 5QB no later than Noon on the 22nd July 2019. If you wish to submit an Expression of Interest please send you documentation in an envelope clearly marked with EXPRESSION OF INTEREST - GROUNDS CONTRACT. Prospective contractors who wish to submit an Expression of Interest for this contract may also be interested in the second contract that will include sports ground maintenance. These are 2 standalone contracts that the Town Council is advertising but contractors may wish to bid for one or both.
