Tender description

The procurement will result in a maximum of 1 provider supplying a service for the removal of bodies across the County of Gloucestershire within the one hour time frame specified. During working hours (8:00 a.m. – 16:00 p.m. Monday to Friday) the provider will bring bodies from the place of death to the Gloucestershire Coroners Court directly. Out of Hours removal (16:00 p.m.–8:00 a.m. Monday to Friday and all day Bank Holidays Saturday and Sunday will be removed to the contractors establishment and the body stored in appropriate refrigerated store until the next working day when it will be taken to the Gloucestershire Coroners Court to be booked in. The expected spend will range between 62 000 GBP-77 000 GBP per year on average. This is for information only and is not a guarantee or commitments to maintain the same balance of spend.
