Tender description
Provision of payment service to enable foreign hauliers to pay a daily, weekly, monthly or annual Levy charge for using U.K roads. The system will enable foreign operators to pay the Levy, provide a data store of payments made and public register available via GOV.UK and will support enforcement. The current contract expires on 02/09/2020 so DVLA intends to engage with the supply market to explore options for a replacement solution. A full specification of requirements is not currently available, but an overview is available upon request. DVLA would like to make clear at this juncture there is no guarantee of a call for further competition. All routes to market will be considered, including evaluation of all CCS Framework Options.
