Tender description

Provision of payment service to enable foreign hauliers to pay a daily, weekly, monthly or annual Levy charge for using UK roads. The system will enable foreign operators to pay the Levy, provide a data store of payments made and public register available via GOV.UK and will support enforcement. The current contract expires on 2.9.2020 so DVLA intends to engage with the supply market to explore options for a replacement solution. The Agency intends to engage with the supply market to explore options for for the purpose of developing a deeper understanding of potential solutions that could fulfill our current and future foreign operator payment service requirements. We intend to convene a supplier innovation day in Swansea on 1.8.2019. Prospective suppliers are asked to register interest in attending by emailing the address provided. The intention is develop and enhance DVLA understanding of possible solutions, costs and potential timescales for implementation and integration.
