Construction work for water projects

Tender description

In response to changing customer and stakeholder needs, population growth and a changing environment, TWUL’s business is changing. Our draft AMP7 plan includes a number of complex projects, significant programmes and anticipates a potential increased volume in maintenance activity. Whilst full details are still being developed, the intention of this notice is to draw your attention to the following proposed procurements, which TWUL intends to commence in the next 12 months. Further works will be advertised in due course: 1) Capital programmes dramework; 2) Civils, Mechanical and Electrical Contracts (CMEC) Framework; 3) Major projects. Each of the procurements listed above will be subject to separate OJEU Contract Notices. The provision of Non – Infrastructure works in North and South London. Estimated contract value of the Lot in the aggregate 600 000 000 GBP-700 000 000 GBP. The provision of non – infrastructure works in the Thames Valley region. Estimated value of the lot in the aggregate 350 000 000 GBP-450 000 000 GBP. The provision of Infrastructure works in the South London region. Estimated value of the lot in the aggregate 325 000 000 GBP-375 000 000 GBP. The provision of infrastructure works in the North London region. Estimated value of the lot in the aggregate 350 000 000 GBP-400 000 000 GBP. The provision of infrastructure works in the Thames Valley region. Estimated value of the lot in the aggregate 175 000 000 GBP-225 000 000 GBP. The provision of civils, mechanical and electrical contracts in the whole TWUL region. The CMEC Framework may include direct project awards by Thames Water, Thames Water’s directly managed capital requirements as well as acting as an optional sub-contractor pool. Potential projects consist of: — procurement of a new sewage treatment works at Guildford sewage treatment works, — procurement required to upgrade Mogden Sewage Treatment Works. Potential projects consist of: Procurement of a new sewage treatment works at Guildford Sewage Treatment Works, Indicative contract value 60 000 000 GBP-70 000 000 GBP; Procurement required to ensure Mogden Sewage Treatment Works is resilient and optimised to treat sewage and sludge with changing weather patterns and population growth. Indicative contract value 80 000 000 GBP-130 000 000 GBP. It is intended that these will be separate stand-alone procurement activities with separate Contract Notices.
