Tender description

An Post have a number of bank accounts, of varying types across the group, with an overdraft facility on its main current account. The An Post group currently requests Direct Debit, Direct Credit/Direct Pay EFT transactions per annum across a number of accounts, and currently has a requirement to initiate high value urgent transfers on a yearly basis. An Post wish to appoint a single supplier for the provision of general banking services. It is anticipated that the agreement will be for a period of 3 years with the option of extending for an additional 2 years, subject to a year on year review. It is anticipated that the agreement will be for a period of 3 years with the option of extending for an additional 2 years, subject to a year on year review. Suppliers should have the following expertise/capabilities within, but not limited to the following areas: — Bank Account Structure Management, — facilities to support An Post Cheque Issuing requirements, — centralised cheque/paper lodgement facilities, — robust online banking systems, — secure EFT bulk Facilities as a direct participant of EBA clearing, — strong service delivery and relationship management team, — excellent reporting facilities across all services and systems, — offer value added activities/services, — ability to ensure a smooth transition.
