Tender description

This award is for the purchase of an upgrade to an existing 610 FTIR Microscope to 620 specification and an additional 670 FTIR Spectrometer. A 128x128 Focal Plane Array MCT Detector, including UDR4 filter and holder parts, various accessories and a 3 year service contract. This is required by UKRl-NERC for an existing programme of research. A competitive quotation exercise was undertaken for this process and the award will be to Aligent Technolgies LDA UK Ltd. The products will be delivered to the British Antarctic Survey, Cambridge.
