Tender description

Prior Information Notice (PIN) to advise that the Irish Defence Forces intends to initiate tender competition in the coming months to seek a supplier of a personal location/tracking system for use by the Defence Forces. The system is size and weight critical and should consist of small form factor personal location/tracking unit and ancillary equipment. The system will be designed to enable its use in austere environments, with limited connectivity options. Interested parties are requested to monitor https://www.etenders.gov.ie/ and/or the Official Journal of the European Union (ted.europa.eu) for the individual competitions. This is a Prior Information Notice (PIN) and not a call for competition — a call for competition may be placed within the next 12 months.
