Tender description

The Liberty Square Enhancement Scheme main works project will involve: — widening of existing footpaths in Liberty Square and provision of pedestrian crossing points including one controlled pedestrian crossing, — reconfiguration of existing carriageway in Liberty Square (N75), — removal of existing car parking spaces from Liberty Square and construction of lay-bys for parking, loading and taxi rank, — construction of an off-street car park of approx 100 spaces and reconfiguration of existing adjacent public car park off Slievenamon Road including access improvements, — public lighting throughout Liberty Square and car park, — drainage, — undergrounding of overhead ESB cables in Liberty Square, — landscaping.
