Miscellaneous repair and maintenance services

Tender description

The purpose of this procurement is engage a life safety systems maintenance contractor to deliver the following works: (i) maintenance, service, alterations and inspection requirements for fire alarm systems, disabled refuge systems, hard of hearing fire warning pager systems and emergency lighting installed within Aston University buildings, including all networks; (ii) fault call out requirements including repair, parts, alterations and inspections for all systems and network noted above; (iii) specification for quoted works for non-contract repairs, upgrades and new installation; (iv) contractual ‘Service Availability’ of the systems and networks; (v) periodic service evaluation meetings; (vi) materials and components to be used to service/repair the system, including provision of stock of essential/commonly used parts; (vii) provision of monthly reports.
