Tender description

Rochdale Council is responsible for approximately 180 Stair Lifts, Step lifts and Vertical Lifts provided for disabled service users. As these lifts are owned by the Council rather than the service user, they must be maintained and inspected within the requirements of the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and LOLER. Two service visits per annum are required for Vertical Lifts and Step Lifts and 1 service visit per annum for Stair Lifts. In addition to the lifts owned by the Council, RBH own approximately 80 lifts, which they have an SLA with the Council to maintain in the same way as explained above Keywords: Lift Maintenance, Rochdale Council, Reapir
