Crescent Purchasing Consortium (CPC) are looking to create a framework that will allow educational institutions to procure a contractor for the planning, installation, consultancy, design, construction, deconstruction, maintenance etc. of synthetic sports surfaces. We are seeking involvement from suppliers to help with assessing the market, and to assist in the creation of a specification for a tendering process. CPC are seeking to enter into discussion with suppliers in order to ascertain what is required to successfully create a tendering process that will allow us to appoint competent prospective suppliers to the framework. CPC may look to engage with suppliers who respond to this prior information notice in order to develop our requirements and an understanding of this sector. Any interest from suppliers should be emailed to Lisa O'Shea at l.m.oshea@thecpc.ac.uk The synthetic sports surfaces framework is expected to cover the supply, installation and maintenance of 3G pitches, external multi-use games areas, playground areas that use soft artificial materials, and any other potential uses. The framework will cover all aspects involved in implementing synthetic surfaces including but not-limited-to: planning, design, consultancy, excavation, groundwork, utility connections, lighting, construction, surface marking, fencing, security, aftercare, maintenance and repair, refurbishment, deconstruction, disposal and recycling.
