Summary of the work There is a limited evidence/system observability of the triage efficiency within UEC DI. This work will help to collect, link and analyse data (including use of statistical modelling and data science techniques) at a national level and provide insights and develop products to further improve the systems/services. Specialist role Business analyst Expected Contract Length 12 months Latest start date Monday 10 June 2019 Maximum Day Rate £550 Who Speclialist Work With Data workstream team includes information and business analysts and technical architects, with input from other specialists across the programme team and wider organisation. What Specialists Work On Provide data analysis and statistical expertise into the Urgent and Emergency Care Digital Integration (UEC DI) programme of work, with particular focus on 111/999 triage related analytics and analytical software development. Skills & Experience • Advanced analytics and statistical skills • Experience of working with healthcare data, including UEC, primary and secondary care data • Advanced user of SQL and SAS, • Experience with a variety of professional data analysis tools including Power BI and Tableau Nice to Haves • Data Management (including data linkage skills) • Data Science/Programming skills Work Location NHS D - London, Skipton House, with occasional travel to Leeds. Working Arrangments On-site, with the main base in London and occasional (once in 1-2 months) travel to Leeds. There is an incumbent in place and the opportunity is open to them to respond to as well as other potential candidates. 5. Who will be reviewing the evidence? i.e. position within the organisation. The evaluation panel will consist of the subject matter experts with information analysis, data science and data management skills and Delivery Manager for the data team. 6. Would there be a possibility to be based in Leeds instead or have any flexibility for remote working? Yes 7. Can we please find out if there are any benefits to the consultant? i.e. remote working, parking on site etc? as be may have candidates not resident in London or Leeds and may drive from their location. No onsite parking facilities are available at either the Leeds or London Office. Travel costs to the main site of work cannot be claimed for.
