Tender description

NHS England Specialised Commissioning (South) sought to procure satellite haemodialysis operational services to 3 existing haemodialysis units at Taunton, Yeovil and Frome. This award notice covers all 3 lots: Lot 1: Taunton; Lot 2: Yeovil; Lot 3: Frome. All lots have been awarded to Fresenius Medical Care Renal Services Ltd The contract for each of the lots will be held by NHS England as the Contracting Authority with the possibility of the contract(s) being novated to the relevant supervising trust during the contract term. The procurement outcome gives a total price of 1 709 840,57 GBP per year, giving a contract lifecycle value of 11 968 883,99 GBP over the initial 4 years and including the possible extension of an additional 3 years. The initial 4-year period will commence from 1st September 2019. This procurement was supported by NHS South, Central and West Commissioning Support Unit (SCW) on behalf of the Commissioners.
