Tender description

NHS England Specialised Commissioning (South) sought to procure satellite haemodialysis operational services in Bath in a partial re-procurement of a previously advertised requirement. The service has been awarded to Fresenius Medical Care Renal Services Ltd. The contract for will be held by NHS England as the Contracting Authority with the possibility of the contract(s) being novated to the relevant supervising trust during the contract term. The procurement outcome gives a total price of 3 735 137,35 GBP per year, giving a contract lifecycle value of 15 803 424 GBP over the initial 4 years and 27 655 992 GBP total over 7 years if the possible extension of an additional 3 years is taken up. The initial 4-year period will commence from 1.6.2019. This procurement was supported by NHS South, Central and West Commissioning Support Unit (SCW) on behalf of the commissioners.
