Tender description

East Sussex County Council has a statutory duty under the Care Act 2014 to provide care and support for eligible local people and therefore requires a single care provider to provide supported living services for working age adults with learning disabilities, at 2 schemes in East Sussex, approximately half a mile from each other: (i) Warwick House, Warwick Road, Seaford BN25 1RG; and (ii) 103 Steyne Road, Seaford BN25 1AL. The service provider will also act as Landlord of the Steyne Road scheme. Both schemes require a 24-hour care and support team. The service provider will be required to be registered with the care quality commission for domiciliary care, and is expected to staff a 24-hour care and support team at each scheme to provide the required personal care and support to adults. This team will be required to liaise regularly with the Landlord in order to provide a seamless provision to adults. The overall purpose of the specified service is to: — provide person centred and flexible personal care, support and specific housing support to enable working age adults to maintain and develop their independence within the community, — promote social inclusion and social capital, — promote health and well-being and personal safety, — to improve the choice of housing and support options available to working age adults.
