Tender description

The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, acting in association with Westminster City Council, has awarded a contract for the provision of temporary toilets for the Notting Hill Carnival that will take place in 2019 with provision to include the 2020 and 2021 Carnivals. The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea and Westminster City Council have awarded a contract to provide toilets for the 2019 Notting Hill Carnival (with an option to extend to the 2020 and 2021 carnivals). The contract covers the requirements of both boroughs and both boroughs will be party to the contract with the contractor. The Notting Hill Carnival is the largest celebration of Caribbean culture in Europe, visited by over a million Londoners and tourists each year, making a significant contribution to London’s economy and its status as a culturally diverse, global city. The event takes place over the Sunday and Monday of the August Bank Holiday each year (25.8.2019 and 26.8.2019) and runs from 10:00 – 19:00.
