BEIS Research and Evaluation Supplier Day

Tender description

BEIS spends over £15m each year commissioning research from external contractors, with in excess of 100projects being procured via frameworks or open tender. As the current BEIS Research & Evaluation Framework expires at the end of 2019, future procurement exercises will primarily be routed through the Crown Commercial Service (CCS) Research Marketplace, Dynamic Purchasing System. BEIS would like to take this opportunity to introduce suppliers to CCS Research Marketplace (if they have not already signed up to it) and provide guidance and best practice tips on completing successful bids for research tenders. In addition BEIS will outline research projects that the department expects to commission over the next 12months. There will also be an opportunity for suppliers to provide feedback on the commissioning process to BEIS and submit any queries they may have to an expert panel comprising representatives from BEIS, CCS and UK SBS. **Please note this is not a call for competition, this a PIN notice for an event.** Register your interest at research@uksbs.co.uk by 21st June for details for the planned supplier day to be held in London on 28th June 2019.
