Tender description

The Environment Department of Gwynedd Council have recently undertaken a review of their major software systems. Their intention is to invest in a replacement ICT system for the following service areas: — planning, — building control, — public protection (including licencing), — land charges, — sustainable drainage systems (Flood and Water Management Act 2010, Schedule 3 in Wales). Gwynedd Council will be replacing their current systems (APAS by Agile Applications Ltd, APP by Civica and in-house solutions) in order to satisfy its long term software goals and where possible, to rationalise the number of software providers it commissions. The long term software goals are: 1) Cloud based, Longevity and Durability; 2) Productivity Gains; 3) Cost Savings.
