Blaenau Gwent County Borough Council is looking to commission housing related support within Ty Parc a 24 hour homelessness hostel provision that provides emergency accommodation to both single people and families, aged 16 years and over (there is no upper age limit), who are homeless/potentially homeless. The purpose of this tender is to commission housing related support within Ty Parc, a 24 hour homelessness hostel accommodating single people, couples and families with children. In terms of this contract specification the term families encompasses both couples and families with children. Support is provided to individuals/families, who have found themselves homeless, to find suitable accommodation as well as maximising levels of independence enabling people to develop the skills to successfully live independently within their own home.
