*** THIS NOTICE IS FOR A MARKET ENGAGEMENT ONLY *** NHS Arden and Greater East Midlands Commissioning Support Unit (NHS Arden and GEM CSU) on behalf of NHS England and NHS Improvement - Midlands are inviting suitably qualified providers to participate in a pre-procurement market engagement exercise in relation to a School Age Immunisation Service to cover the following regions: • Birmingham • Coventry • Dudley • Hereford • Sandwell • Solihull • Walsall • Warwickshire • Wolverhampton • Worcestershire The service provision will include: • Routine Section 7A immunisations delivered in a school setting which are subject to national direction but currently are: o Men ACWY and Td/IPV in Year 9 children o Routine HPV to boys and girls in Year 8/9 o Flu immunisation in Reception to Year 6 children • MMR provision o to children with incomplete immunisations offered alongside the routine sessions for Td/IPV, Men ACWY and HPV o as part of outbreak responses in school and other community settings • Domiciliary neonatal Hepatitis B immunisations at 4 weeks and 12 months of age including DBS testing, to the small number of children born to mothers with chronic hepatitis B • Working with stakeholders (e.g. Local Authorities) to identify hard to reach communities and build effective relationships to ensure high immunisation uptake in all groups • Provision of non-school community clinics as required e.g. for home-schooled children, children who missed the initial opportunity in the school setting The Commissioner would be grateful for relevant feedback to support the development of the Commissioning and Procurement Strategies. As such, potential providers are requested to complete a market engagement questionnaire and submit via the EU Supply eProcurement system before 5.00pm on the 19th June 2019. In addition, the Commissioner is making 30 minute 1:1 sessions available to potential providers on Wednesday 26th June 2019. The venue of these sessions will be central Birmingham. Exact details of the venue will be provided to organisations who are booked into a 1:1 session. The purpose of the 1:1 sessions will be to enable potential providers to further explain their responses to the questionnaire (as appropriate), and also offer the opportunity for them to give additional feedback in relation to the service specification. They will also be able to ask the Commissioner relevant questions relating to the service requirements. Potential providers need to register on the EU Supply eProcurement system (see section 5 below) in order to access the market engagement questionnaire and register for a 1:1 session. Eight 1:1 session slots are available on the 26th June 2019 between 10.00am and 3.15pm. Slots will be allocated on a first come first service basis. Potential providers will need to submit a questionnaire response in order to book a 1:1 slot. Potential providers may also submit a questionnaire response without registering for a 1:1 session. Additional information: Further information including draft service specification and anticipated service activity have been made available within the EU Supply eProcurement system. Please note, all documentation made available as part of this market engagement process is draft and subject to change. Organisations can access information relating to the opportunity, submit a questionnaire and register for a 1:1 session by registering on the EU Supply eProcurement system as follows: 1. Complete and upload the questionnaire and complete market engagement 1:1 slot preference question. Bidders should submit their completed responses no later than 5:00pm on 19th June 2019.
