Tender description

Restorative Practice is well evidenced as an approach that improves children’s ability to function and learn at school, it has strong outcomes in reducing and resolving issues related to bullying and enables children to address difficult issues together and therefore training in relation to Restorative Practice would contribute to all four of these priority areas by ensuring a whole system change resulting in a consistent approach in working ‘with’ children, young people and families across services. It is proposed that training is delivered to three groups of individuals: 1) To frontline inter-agency staff contributing to delivering Local Transformation Plans (improving mental health outcomes for children and young people). 2) To inter-agency middle managers. 3) To Children and Young People 4) To develop a Community of Practice through the provision of ongoing and specialist support/mentoring, reflective space/group supervision which will enable the practitioner to embed what they have learned within their practice and the facilitation of action learning sets. Keywords: Training, Restorative Practice
