A number of flow cytometers are core equipment in the MDS flow cytometry core facility and located within the Institutes of I&I and CGS, supported by the cross-college enabling technologies flow cytometry platform. Maintenance and calibration of this equipment is essential for the operation of the facility and institutes for research projects in progress. This service contract includes preventive maintenance visits and spare parts, and together with specialist technical support is only available from the original supplier.This contract is for the renewal of an umbrella service contract with the manufacturer/supplier to ensure the equipment is maintained to the accepted service standards. By combining the individual contracts the price obtained is substantially reduced as compared to the prices of individual service contracts.
