North Yorkshire Voluntary and Community Sector Infrastructure Support Grant - Market Engagement

North Yorkshire County Council (NYCC) and the Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) in North Yorkshire invest in the provision of practical and strategic support (often known as infrastructure support) to facilitate a strong, diverse and vibrant voluntary and community sector and volunteering across North Yorkshire. The service comprises three elements: • Community support – provision of support and advice to build organisation’s capacity • Volunteering – support and advice for volunteering involving organisations and potential volunteers • VCS co-ordination, engagement and representation – with VCS, public sector and private sector organisations The current agreement for the provision of these services finishes on 31 March 2020. We are reviewing the specification and the wider support commissioned to the VCS. We will then use a competitive grant process in the autumn to ensure the new arrangements are in place for April 2020. We want to engage with potential providers of this service as part of developing the specification. We are arranging individual sessions with potential providers of the service between 24th June and 5th July. The sessions will provide potential providers with the opportunity to comment on our thinking on the specification and to receive information on the planned competitive grant process.
