Salford City Council (‘the Council’) currently have a Car Club Scheme and would like to engage with the market to seek out interested companies who would be interested in offering a practical, reliable, efficient and effective car club which brings many benefits to the Council, elected members and Council employees. The Council’s requirement, is for a Car Club Operator who will be responsible for, but not limited to, the day-to-day running of the car club service, including provision of vehicles, management, electronic booking system, indemnity, insurance, breakdown cover, maintenance of vehicles, marketing activities and any new innovative ideas. The Council is looking to hold a supplier engagement sessions with all interested parties on Monday 24.6.2019 during the hours of 9:30 to 13:30, time and location will be allocated nearer the time to interested providers. Following the market engagement the Council will be looking to advertise the opportunity around the beginning August 2019.
