Tender description

UK Shared Business Services Ltd acting on behalf of the contracting authority the Department for business, energy and industrial strategy have put in place a contract to appoint a service provider for additional legal advice and support for the development and delivery of the BEIS ICF portfolio of programmes. This contract has been awarded following a further competition against CCS RM3786 General Legal Advice Services tier 1. There is an option to extend this contract for a further 12 months until 31.3.2021 UK Shared Business Services Ltd acting on behalf of the Contracting Authority the Department for business, energy and industrial strategy have put in place a contract to appoint a service provider for additional legal advice and support for the development and delivery of the BEIS ICF portfolio of programmes. Support on corporate matters will include (but is not limited to) the drafting of documentation and the provision of assistance: (a) on the establishment and running of both incorporated and unincorporated bodies; (b) to facilitate BEIS investments and/or joint ventures with other bodies; (c) in relation to BEIS grant and other financial assistance schemes. Support on commercial matters might include (but is not limited to): (a) drafting contracts or other legal or quasi-legal documentation and any necessary subsidiary advice; (b) in the context of the drafting of the relevant contractual or other documentation; (c) advice in the area of competition law. BEIS will also require drafting and ancillary support to address areas where BEIS’s objectives are not met within the proposed legal structure and related arrangements. This contract has been awarded following a further competition against CCS RM3786 General Legal Advice Services Tier 1.
