Tender description

Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council ('the Council') is seeking to appoint a suitable Contractor to carry out litter picking of the Highways Agency trunk road verges primarily the A303 and A34 within the geographical area of the Borough of Basingstoke and Deane. As per the specification included in this tender documentation. The council also requires prices for ad-hoc traffic management for occasions where this is required to allow the Council to carry out works around the ring roads and trunk roads in the borough. The contract will be for 2 years with an option to extend for a further 1 year. Dispatch of ITT: Thursday 24th January 2019 Questions & Answers: Thurs 24th Jan - Thurs 21st Feb 2019 Return of Tender: 12:00:00 Tues 26th February 2019 Evaluation of Tender: Thursday 14th March 2019 Notification of Contract Award to Tenderers: Monday 18th March 2019 Contract commencement meeting: TBA The Council reserves the right to change the above timetable and Tenderers will be notified accordingly where there is a change in the timetable. The Council is utilising an electronic tendering tool to manage this procurement and communicate with Tenderers.
