Tender description
The London Borough of Newham wishes to invite suitably qualified organisations to provide dementia community memory support services in the borough. The Council is looking to award a 2 year contract with a 1 year extension option. The memory support service (comprising of dementia adviser, cafes, singing for the brain and young onset dementia activity) will augment the clinical pathway by providing a community based support service for people and their families living with dementia, both before and after diagnosis. This may help to delay their need for clinical support or hospital admissions. It will also help them to remain living independently in the community as long as possible.
