Tender description

Framework for accommodation and support for living a good life. Powys County Council (PCC) is committed to improving opportunities for people with a disability, predominately a learning disability, through planning and commissioning services that work with people to meet their needs. PCC are commissioning the provision of support and care services for adults with disabilities, though the establishment of a framework in July/August 2019. PCC is continuing its innovative and efficient way of delivering service models/specifications to deliver best value, sustainable outcomes while supporting the county’s local economy given the challenging and ever changing times ahead. The existing provision comprises of 23 contracts with a large proportion due to expire between November 2019 and April 2020 with an estimated annual contract value of 10 200 000 GBP. Interested providers will be invited to complete a pre-qualification questionnaire to ascertain their eligibility to provide services under the newly developed outcome focused service specification. All qualifying providers will be added to the framework and invited to bid for mini-competitions during the framework period. Further details will be provided when the Contract Notice is issued on Sell2Wales over the coming months.
